Jason P. Wapiennik began his professional career at a Edmund Maciorowski, P.C., a customs and trade law firm based out of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. In order to meet the individualized needs of each client, Jason worked not only on customs law, but also contracts, estates, purchase agreements, debt collection, litigation, and through this perfected his communication, research and writing skills that are so critical for success in every step of the legal process.

Jason is originally from Chicagoland, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science magna cum laude, with additional Political Science departmental honors, from Loyola University of Chicago in 2005. As part of his education, Jason lived abroad, studying in Rome, Italy, at the John Felice Rome Center. Jason was a member Loyola's Mock Trial Team, and is a lifetime member of the Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society and Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society.

During law school, Jason lived in Krakow, Poland, and as part of his education, participated in an intensive two month program of classes learning international business, trade, and customs laws at Jagiellonian University of Krakow. Jason received a scholarship from the New York City based Kosciuszko Foundation. Jason is a 2008 alumnus of Ave Maria School of Law's former Ann Arbor campus, where he placed on the Dean's List for academic performance and received his Juris Doctor degree.
